And we also have...The Book Blogger HOP

Book Blogger Hop

BOOK BLOGGER HOP is alive and well...join in click on the words Jen's Blog Hop below and link up with some fabulous blog sites.

Each week there is a new question to answer, which is fun and also helps to get to know each other better.
"Since today is April Fool's Day in the USA, what is the best prank you have ever played on someone OR that someone has played on you?"
My response...I'm not a prankster, however have had some cute ones tried on me.

I was at work in a busy legal section, took my coffee break...when I returned to my desk there was a message in my PA's handwriting that I had to urgently ring the number provided and ask for Mr. G. Raffe.

I phoned. The woman at the other end laughed, she said Mr. G Raffe couldn't come to the phone, neither could Mr Lyon. Yup! it was the Zoo.

I got caught, and I laughed along with everyone else. The poor woman had already fielded dozens of calls..she said April Fool's Day was her favorite day of the year.(NOT)

In the spirit of the Twitter Friday Follow, the Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and share our love of the written word!

The Hop lasts Friday-Monday every week, so if you don't have time to Hop today, come back later and join the fun!  This is a weekly event!  And stop back throughout the weekend to see all the new blogs that are added!  We get over 200 links every week!!

Visit other blogs in the Linky List! Make new friends! Follow new book bloggers! Talk about books! Rave about authors! Take the time to make a quality visit! Check out other posts and content, make a new friend! Don't randomly follow someone if you never intend on actually following them! No spamming please! (Please do not leave your link and not visit other blogs - it's just not cool and not in the spirit of the Hop!)

And just as an FYI - this event is not something you should feel that you have to participate in every week. If you want to join in and link up once a month, GREAT! It's up to you how often you participate!

So, have fun HOPPING and enjoy your BOOK PARTY weekend!!!

  3. Thanks for hopping by my site, new follower here :)

I had to laugh at your pronunciation of the word "fatigue" - but even though it doesn't sound like I had to overcome the same education-hardship circumstances you did, I can sympathize with pronouncing words funny as a kid, I pronounced the word "unique" as you ni q - basically just like it looks. lol

    Congratz on your publishing!

  11. At first I wasn't going to participate in this week's Book Blogger Hop. I'm not even sure why.

But here I am. And I'm glad! To dispel any false impressions people may have had about me being a old, stodgy fuddy-duddy I'm happy to share some of my very best pranks with you.

Highlights include - low-grade explosives, eggs and salt shakers. Get all the side-splitting details over on my blog - http://www.howardsherman.net

They date back to my younger years as a Brooklyn boy which brings about some introspection.

I'm going to go pull some pranks today. Look out world! I'm coming out of prankster retirement!
