Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
Grab your current read
Open to a random page
Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
Share the author and perhaps a link to the book so that folks can add it to their own TBR lists.
Don't forget to pop over to the host site below.

My Teaser Tuesday for this week is...
"Discovery at Rosehill" By Kathryn Brown
Genre: Paranormal/Romance. Debut Novel
Page: 1
I hear someone walking up the stairs to my room. Footsteps urgently make their ascent to my first floor bedroom. I move to the door then stand in rigid poise. My eyes scan the stairs, the hall, eagerly searching for life amongst an empty space. There is no one there.
I smell freesias and perfume, a delicious aroma of cooking and the harsh scent of tobacco smoke. I hear my name being called, the cry of a child and a woman’s soothing voice. I turn; my eyes see movement, flitting from one wall to another.

I had the pleasure of reviewing "Discovery At Rosehill" this week and recommend it to anyone who enjoys Paranormal books.
Hmm I wonder what's going on? That's alot going on if no one's there.

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you read and enjoyed both of Kessler's books! I'm about halfway done Rage atm and am really enjoying it. I don't think I've found anyone else who has read the series yet! YAY us :)
Very intriguing and mysterious teaser.
ReplyDeletestop and see mine and my giveaways.
Present tense? Bit unusual; does the author take that approach throughout the book?
ReplyDelete@ smellingthecoffee; The author uses present tense throughout, and does it remarkably well. A very smooth flowing style, and a great voice.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments peeps, I will visit each of you.
Enjoy your day!
