Hello all, and welcome to the Paragraphs of Power contest for the month of August 2012.
The rules are simple.
You need to write attention grabbing powerful paragraphs.They do NOT need to be the opening Paragraphs to a story. Any Paragraph can be Powerful! No more than 1000 words in total. In Any Genre. They must be from any unpublished work, or may be specifically written for this contest.
For the purpose of this contest, a published work is deemed anything that has had an ISBN number allocated.
The vote will be a blind one, the only identifier will be a title and a number allocated by myself.
I will be putting entries up weekly over the course of the month of August. The two top voted winners of each weekly post will go into the grand final vote at the end of August.
The Prize each month...
The winner will have any work of their choosing promoted on my blog for the entire month following the grand final.
The winner will also be invited to submit a guest blog post on a date and topic of their choosing.
The winner will also receive a $25 Amazon Gift card.
So! You know you can do it! Write powerful paragraphs that will grab and hold the attention of the readers, paragraphs that make us want more. Paragraphs that we will remember!
