Paragraphs Of Power "Halloween Special!"

 

 Hello, All.  Welcome to the Paragraphs Of Power HALLOWEEN SPECIAL EDITION!

The rules are simple.

This month you need to write an attention grabbing SHORT STORY with a HALLOWEEN theme. All entries MUST contain a theme related to Halloween!

This month the entries need to be specifically written for this contest; and be a COMPLETE short story. The word count has been increased to 1500 words in any genre. The short story has NO minimum word count! 

You may make us shiver with fear, or shake with laughter. As long as the theme for the story is built around the October 31st celebration.

The vote as always will be a blind one, the only identifier will be a title and a number allocated by myself.

If I receive sufficient numbers of entries I will post two semi-finals putting 5 entries up weekly over the course of the month of October. The two top voted winners of each weekly post will go into the grand final vote at the end of the month.

The Prizes this month ...

The winner will have any work of their choosing promoted on my blog for the entire  month following the grand final. 

The winner will also be invited to submit a guest blog post on a date and topic of their choosing.

For this month only the the winner will also receive a $50 Amazon Gift card.

So! You know you can do it! Write a short story that will grab and hold the attention of the readers, scintillating paragraphs that make us want more.
